Shige is kind of beautiful and even though Koyama feels silly crushing on a 15 year old he doesn't understand how anyone can blame him. Shige is mature and smart enough to hold an adult conversation but ditzy enough to trip over air sometimes and Koyama can't help but find that really endearing.
Koyama's not sure how Shige feels about boys kissing other boys but Shige's been talking for five minutes about something else when Koyama decides to lean in and take his chance. He only does it softly, pursed lips against Shige's slightly open mouth. It's only a brief moment of gentle, ephemeral pleasure before Koyama pulls himself away.
He's prepared to dismiss his actions as just his continuing weirdness if Shige reacts badly. Instead Shige's smile is shy and pleased and his hand moves over Koyama's hand on the bench between them.
